My to-do list for today and every day includes the following:

  • Be kind.
  • Give back.
  • Let go.
  • Stay away from drama.
  • Count blessings.
  • Be productive and calm.
  • Give thanks.
  • Say I’m sorry (bonus points if you say it first).
  • Be open to new things.
  • Don’t overextend my welcome.
  • Protect myself.
  • Trust my intuition.
  • Smile more.
  • Breathe deeply.
  • Keep an open mind.
  • Don’t be a mean girl.
  • Don’t stress about things outside of my control. (We can only control our reaction to what happens.)

My entire life suddenly exploded last year. I lost my partner, some friends and my job. I wasn’t equipped to handle so much loss and change at once. Through it all I learned that it’s so important to take good care of myself (being kind to myself, sleeping, eating well, exercising, only spending time with people who truly care about me), especially now.

Remember we are physically distancing but not distancing ourselves from friends, colleagues and loved ones. We need each other more than ever 🙌🏻
