In this Women Who Wow profile, get to know Ruth Morayniss, the Client Relations and Business Development Manager at Beard Winter LLP in Toronto.

I met Ruth last summer during the pandemic when I first started the Women Who Wow community. LinkedIn brought us together, and I’m very grateful for that. I was hosting weekly zoom meetings for women like me who felt isolated and needed some encouragement that we weren’t alone. We forged relationships and bonds with each other during that time, and I am especially grateful to Ruth for her candor and contributions to our community then – it’s so great to see how much we’ve all changed as there begins to be an end in sight to the pandemic.

As the Director of Marketing for the largest CPA firm in Albany, Teal, Becker and Chiaramonte CPAs, Ali Anechiarico oversees and implements all marketing initiatives designed to grow the TBC brand and expand the reach of the firm’s portfolio of accounting, tax and advisory services.

Prior to joining TBC, Ali oversaw all marketing initiatives for a leading intellectual property law firm in Albany. She has extensive experience with professional services marketing including event planning, email marketing, advertising, branding and business development.

Ali has volunteered for many organizations and is currently President-Elect for the American Marketing Association Capital Region and on the Advisory Committee for CPAmerica.

Ali and I met several years ago through the Legal Marketing Association. She was part of the Upstate NY chapter and let’s just say there weren’t many people in it so she was looking for more people to engage with and more people to bounce ideas off of especially since she was a solo marketer. We immediately hit it off, and I was so happy to be a mentor of sorts to her. We were able to finally meet in person at a local event in New York City and then spent more time together at an LMA National Conference. I’m so glad our paths crossed.
